Lion D.I.Y sweater

Hi there. I decided that I'll do a blog where I can share my ideas and thoughts about life

But first let's do some d.i.y:)
Okej :]
So me and my friend went for shopping hunt:P of course we stopped for "fresh" Tally Weijl where I saw a great cute sweater with a motive of a lion. And immediately in my head I was already rubbing an idea that would be great if it came a little renovating to the style. I think it was only 5 €, it was on sell:] So I had to take. I have nothing to loss special if it was 5 €

So the first thing you'll do is open up the sleeve to remove stitches from the sleeves

Now it should look something like this

Now I used fake black leather for my sleeves but u can pick any material you want:]
Please just do not use real leather or fur because i am very against it!

Okey:] so in the picture are measurement of my sleeves but it all depends on the sleeve you've got
I laid out the pieces of the pattern onto the wrong side of the fabric and cut the pieces, adding a 1 cm seam allowance and the lenght 2-3cm
Word of advice ..You can't pin leather, since the pin holes will remain in your finished piece. and they will not go away so I recommend that you use scotch tape and not too sticky best for such projects is a paper tape :]
like this

Okej so i just played around with seams .The first one is a half of presser food and the second one is 2,5 cm :)

and now it should look something like this.  You see how this two patterns are
too wide for upper sleeves? That is because we will put them together :)
Just you need to measure how wide is upper sleeve so that will match your lower part of sleeves.

 Yey:) We're almost done!
We have to sewn together sleeve for a 1 cm so that will match our armhole/sleeve

i just added a patent from my leftovers and added studs to make it more cooler:P
